SUPER
TESTRONTM
NATURAL
ANABOLIC ENERGIZER
In
the quest for the ultimate training supplement one must consider what an athlete wants for
results. It would be safe to assume increased performance is most important, but what
else? Reviewing the claims from the more popular ideas available gives an indication. If a
supplement increased energy, strength and endurance, it would be hitting close to the
mark, but what could do this?
Clinical
studies show testosterone to directly effect these areas. To show this point think of
somebody who is 90 years old, the energy is down, the muscles are weak, even the bones are
more brittle. This overall performance drop is directly related to plummeting testosterone
levels. There are many natural elements (plant, animal & mineral) which have a
positive effect on elevating testosterone levels, these are called ANDROGENIC AGENTS. We
will discuss a few of these. Someone could boost testosterone levels by taking a foreign
or synthetic testosterone and literally adding it to the body this is commonly called a
steroid. |
Steroids as we know them today were first produced in the late 1950s, of
course there were "steroids" before this most recent idea, but they were a
totally different idea. The original steroids were made from a plant (Dioscorea) which
boosted the natural levels instead of adding synthetics. This was accomplished by
"hiding" or "masking" the natural testosterone so the body would sense
deficiency and start over-producing. This old idea has merit, because it does give
noticeable improvements (not as good as a real "steroid") without the potential
harmful side effects. By taking the ANDROGENS most commonly used in the field specifically
for gains and combining them with this plant Dioscorea the idea is to increase the
anabolic phase of muscle building and decrease the catabolic phase or "tear
down" phase. Studies show that very hard training decreases testosterone levels in
men and women, so a good androgen can help balance the anabolic/catabolic
phases adding to the development of stronger, leaner muscle mass. A very good Androgen or
combination thereof can tip the scale in favor of the anabolic (growth) phase giving very
impressive gains to the serious lifter.
In summary, raising
natural testosterone levels directly increases power, stamina, bone strength and energy
levels. By increasing the anabolic phase and decreasing the catabolic phase a lifter would
increase lean muscle mass and power while shortening the recovery time and getting more
intense results from a less intense work out program.
